Employee Relations Investigator - Mexico (Remote)

Investigate confidential employee-relations concerns for GE Vernova’s global energy business. Manage cases, corrective actions, stakeholder partnerships, and employee-relations initiatives across the Americas.

Description

  • Resolve assigned employee-relations concerns through the Investigations Community of Expertise in accordance with government, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Manage multiple active employee-relations cases independently while maintaining consistent, high-quality work.
  • Partner with the Business Ombuds, People Leaders, HR Partners, Labor & Employment Counsel, and Compliance Leaders throughout investigations.
  • Assess concerns, create corrective action plans, and coach People Leaders and HR Partners.
  • Use sound judgment when handling complex and confidential matters.
  • Review evidence and ask focused questions to resolve concerns and promote an inclusive, respectful workplace.
  • Explain complex issues clearly and prepare concise closure reports documenting investigation outcomes.
  • Advise colleagues, clarify sensitive information, build agreement, and influence stakeholders.
  • Contribute globally to Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence initiatives that strengthen employee relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, plus relevant experience in HR, Legal, or Compliance.
  • Professional experience in HR, Legal, or Compliance supporting manufacturing and business operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Multilingual candidates fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French are preferred.
  • An advanced degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Economics, Compliance, or Legal studies, such as an MBA, is preferred.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to apply Lean principles to operations.
  • Strong writing and presentation abilities, including the capacity to develop, analyze, structure, and present conclusions to varied audiences.
  • Ability to rapidly assess complex information, recognize interdependencies, and make difficult decisions.
  • Experience supporting organizations in the energy industry is preferred.
