Early Careers Recruiter (Hybrid)

Lead campus recruiting initiatives for Ameriprise Financial, building university partnerships and early-career talent pipelines. Coordinate events, assess candidates, and support internship, graduate, and apprenticeship hiring.

Description

  • Create and deliver campus recruiting strategies for students and recent graduates across business areas
  • Develop relationships with universities, colleges, career services, student groups, and faculty
  • Organize and participate in campus and virtual recruiting events, including career fairs, networking sessions, information days, and company presentations
  • Source and engage promising students and graduates through networking, social media, job boards, and campus activities
  • Interview, assess, and evaluate candidates for internships, graduate positions, and apprenticeships
  • Work with hiring managers and early-career program leaders to clarify hiring needs, draft job descriptions, and support candidate selection
  • Guide candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Monitor, analyze, and report metrics such as time to hire, recruiting diversity, and conversion rates
  • Research and introduce effective recruiting approaches while keeping current with early-career hiring trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2–5 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in early-career, campus, internship, or emerging-talent recruiting
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working with students, universities, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple high-volume recruiting campaigns in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and campus recruiting tools; Workday experience is preferred
  • Strong organization and project management skills with close attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in identifying and developing early-career professionals
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working on a global team
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for campus events, conferences, and team meetings
  • U.S. work authorization without current or future need for employment visa sponsorship in the United States
