Client Services Advisor – Travel and Health Insurance

Description

  • Handle customer service and claims calls about travel, accident and health plans
  • Reply to general inquiries by email and online chat
  • Resolve complex call issues using appropriate resources
  • Match customers with suitable products, convert inquiries into sales and record sales in the policy administration system
  • Update claimants on claim status
  • Troubleshoot customer-facing technology
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Bring energy and strong interpersonal skills to client interactions
  • Use sound judgment to solve problems and manage multiple tasks
  • Work independently and adapt flexibly to changing needs
  • Use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Have three years of customer service experience, ideally in travel, accident and health, or medical insurance
  • A Life and Health or Property and Casualty insurance license, or equivalent, is preferred
