Claims Care Associate - Lincoln Financial (Remote)

Description

  • Handle approximately 50–60 daily customer calls about group insurance claims, including dental, life, disability, and FMLA coverage.
  • Share claim details and verify member benefits accurately.
  • Explain FMLA and disability products to customers and employers, including the appropriate next steps.
  • Document claims and leave cases accurately across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders through email and phone.
  • Recommend and support process improvements and organizational initiatives.
  • Attend six weeks of paid training Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Home internet bandwidth of at least 12 Mbps; 25 Mbps is preferred.
  • Availability for an eight-hour Monday–Friday shift scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST.
  • Prior data entry and research experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems as needed is preferred.
