Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, AI Resolution
Build LLM-powered agents that resolve healthcare and insurance questions for Alan members. Improve automated support across claims, coverage, and real-time voice conversations.
Opis
- Develop LLM agents that interpret member needs and act using contract, claim, and history data
- Create tools and retrieval pipelines that give AI agents relevant context
- Connect agents through conversation handoffs, shared context, and capability calls
- Extend automated support to new channels, starting with AI phone and live voice support
- Create datasets, automated evaluations, and quality monitoring systems
- Track and improve resolution rates, answer quality, and member satisfaction in production
- Refine prompts, models, and system architecture
- Work with care specialists and product teams to find issues AI can resolve end to end
- Help shape product direction, mentor engineers, and lead technical work
- Develop infrastructure, interfaces, and applications for members, health professionals, and internal teams
Zahteve
- Bring at least five years of experience building scalable software systems
- Have strong backend experience; Python experience is a plus
- Have hands-on experience building LLM products, including agents, tool calling, RAG, prompt engineering, and evaluation; production experience is preferred
- Be able to assess AI system quality and improve it
- Be interested in healthcare technology
- Understand how insurance affects access to care
- Show curiosity and strong potential
- Be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain
- Be based in or willing to relocate to France, Spain, or Belgium
- Be willing to learn React, Python/Flask, and PostgreSQL, Alan's engineering stack; prior familiarity is not required
