Desktop Support Technician – Alachua, Florida
Provide hardware, software, Active Directory, and help desk support at Evergen’s onsite Alachua operations. Evergen is a global regenerative medicine contract development and manufacturing organization.
Descriere
- Support software and hardware needs for onsite and remote employees
- Coordinate setup, configuration, and installation of laptops, desktop computers, and network printers
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with company devices
- Install and support licensed and internally developed software and hardware
- Manage system and software access through Active Directory accounts
- Triage help desk requests received by phone and through the ticketing system
- Log, update, and document requests in the IT service desk system
- Keep the inventory of company-provided devices accurate
- Assist with a range of IT projects
- Handle other duties as assigned
Cerințe
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–3 years of desktop support experience
- A+ or MCP certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Computer software and system troubleshooting skills
- Customer service skills
- Problem-solving methods
- Ability to move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Spend more than 75% of the time standing or sitting in a stationary position while using digital displays
- Spend more than 75% of the time performing fine hand and finger movements, such as typing and clicking
