Customer Success Manager, Commodities — Houston Hybrid

Lead onboarding, adoption, value realization, and retention for energy-market clients using Vortexa’s real-time satellite data platform. Collaborate with Account Managers across the user interface, API integrations, and MCP-enabled workflows.

Descriere

  • Lead onboarding and accelerate time to value for new clients and users across the analytics platform and API integration workflows.
  • Map account users, usage patterns, buying centers, and underused desks, teams, or regions.
  • Translate trading, chartering, analytics, and quantitative workflows into success plans and use cases, reviewing progress with champions each quarter.
  • Track account health and usage, identify risks early, and give the Account Manager a usage and value case at least 120 days before renewal.
  • Work with each Account Manager as a unified account team while sharing insights into evolving client needs.
  • Enable users and uncover emerging needs and teams across client accounts.

Cerințe

  • Bring at least four years of experience in energy, commodities, or shipping markets, ideally as an analyst, trader, charterer, broker, or operator working directly with market and vessel data; customer success or account management experience supporting technical, analytical users of a market data product will also be considered.
  • Have experience in energy, commodities, or maritime markets, or with a data or API product serving technical and analytical buyers.
  • Communicate credibly about APIs, data integrations, and how analyst teams use data, or demonstrate the ability to learn these topics.
  • Build trusted relationships with front-line users such as traders, analysts, and charterers as well as senior decision-makers.
  • Use usage data and CRM information to prioritize activity and demonstrate client value.
  • Working knowledge of Python or SQL is helpful.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, agents, or MCP in data workflows is helpful.
