Descriere

  • Build Humana’s Agentic Development Lifecycle as an AI-native software delivery platform program
  • Direct four program tracks with governance and goals for reuse, uptime, cost efficiency, and regulatory defensibility
  • Improve productivity across diverse IT disciplines through generative AI
  • Apply Agile, engineering, and DevOps practices throughout the IT organization
  • Lead enterprise organizational change and influence matrixed teams without formal reporting authority
  • Oversee product and platform engineering delivery for assigned teams
  • Coach agile and operations teams as they adopt new technologies and working practices
  • Review and author architecture decisions, ADRs, and agent design specifications
  • Prototype sub-agent definitions, tool and MCP integrations, prompts, and character specifications in the agent harness
  • Analyze traces, assess evaluation-harness results, and troubleshoot agent behavior with engineers
  • Contribute to reference implementations for Factory PODs
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Develop presentations, promote delivered capabilities, and communicate progress to senior leaders
  • Report to the Director of AI Enablement in Enterprise Engineering Services

Cerințe

  • At least 15 years of software engineering experience
  • At least five years leading engineering managers, technical leads, or multiple squads
  • Ownership of a multi-track or platform-scale program involving at least three parallel workstreams and 25 or more engineers
  • Hands-on expertise in at least two of distributed systems, platform or SRE engineering, ML or AI engineering, and cloud infrastructure
  • Production experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform: GCP, Azure, or AWS
  • Working knowledge of LLM application development, including agent frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, tool or function calling, and evaluation methods
  • Experience delivering software in regulated environments with security and compliance requirements
  • Ability to align peer organizations without direct authority
  • Experience with enterprise engineering platforms such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub, SonarQube, Artifactory, TFE, or comparable tools
  • Experience with cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, GitOps, Argo, and Terraform Enterprise
  • Deep understanding of large language models, including their training processes
  • Excellent written communication skills, including architecture documentation and one-page briefs for vice presidents
  • Compassionate, people-focused leadership that supports team development
  • Ability to give direct, constructive feedback to direct reports
  • Strong communication skills and effectiveness in highly agile environments
  • Technical credibility with recent production coding or architecture work; candidates without this experience in the past 24 months are unlikely to be suitable
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Production experience with agentic AI
  • Familiarity with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, MCP, or comparable agent tools
  • Healthcare, payer, or life sciences experience with HIPAA or PHI handling preferred
  • Exposure to AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, or model risk management
  • FinOps experience preferred
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems or leading enterprise developer productivity programs preferred
