Junior Reporting Analyst
Support recurring client reporting with SQL, Excel, and Power BI. Validate data, maintain dashboards, and explain trends to internal teams and clients.

- Run and adapt existing SQL queries for scheduled and one-off reports.
- Use Excel to organize, check, analyze, and summarize data from multiple sources.
- Check data quality, investigate discrepancies, verify report results, and raise issues.
- Build, maintain, and refresh recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI summaries.
- Maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, check data refreshes, and improve basic visualizations.
- Collect, clarify, and document reporting needs from colleagues and clients.
- Explain reports and present clear summaries and findings to internal and client audiences.
- Investigate client questions by checking data and sharing findings.
- Support senior analysts with reporting, improvements, analysis requests, and client-facing work.
- Record and help resolve reporting issues, data inconsistencies, and process questions.
- Spot trends, explain variances, and contribute to business recommendations with guidance.
- Develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Work with direction from the Analytics Director and senior team members.

- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- One to two years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role; comparable training or education may count.
- Working knowledge of querying relational databases or the aptitude to learn query tools.
- Some exposure to business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or dashboard support.
- Power BI dashboard development or maintenance, data visualization, or report refresh experience is preferred.
- Experience with client-facing reports, operational data, web portals, warehouse management systems, or ERP systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in telecom, retail, customer success, or operations support is preferred.
- Careful attention to detail when checking data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Ability to work with data in varied formats from clients, internal systems, and business partners.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including running, reviewing, and modifying existing queries.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for organizing, validating, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Ability to explain reporting results, trends, and variances clearly and concisely.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with a professional, service-oriented approach to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organization, documentation, and task management skills; able to meet deadlines and complete assigned work accurately.
- Curiosity, problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence platform.
- Experience creating or maintaining reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, or recurring analytics deliverables.
- Ability to interpret business needs and document reporting or data requests.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and effective visual storytelling.
- Customer service, listening, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
