  • Advise managers professionally on employee relations issues
  • Handle HR enquiries promptly, discreetly, and professionally
  • Develop strong manager relationships while delivering practical HR guidance and solutions
  • Support absence cases, return-to-work processes, and initiatives to reduce sickness absence
  • Contribute to routine HR administration and daily activities
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring, including cover for the Talent Acquisition Adviser when required
  • Serve as a key user for the HRIS and LMS
  • Protect data accuracy, system integrity, and appropriate access permissions
  • Guide, support, and train users of HR systems
  • Collaborate with IT and external providers to resolve problems and deliver improvements
  • Contribute to HR projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement work
  • Help test systems, complete upgrades, and introduce new functionality
  • Review HR data, systems, and processes for accuracy, compliance, and quality
  • Prepare routine and bespoke reports for HR and management
  • Recommend improvements to HR systems, processes, reporting, and user experience
  • Organise and administer online and in-person training
  • Track training compliance and keep training records current
  • Support onboarding and learning and development programmes
  • Assess training impact and report learning results and compliance status
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, data protection, and information security obligations
  • Assist with internal and external audits covering HR data, learning records, and systems
  • Keep audit trails for system issues, incidents, change requests, and resolutions
  • Verify data across HR systems, workflows, and reports

  • Demonstrated experience using HR systems and managing HR processes and procedures
  • Ability to maintain precise employee records and support technology-enabled HR activities
  • Working knowledge of data protection law, including GDPR
  • Understanding of secure practices for handling, storing, and managing sensitive personal data
  • Track record of managing confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity
  • Strong administrative, organisational, analytical, and reporting capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at every level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
