HR Generalist - Sony, Barcelona (Hybrid)
Support Sony Europe employees and managers across onboarding, payroll, recruitment, benefits, and employee relations. Maintain Workday systems, HR administration, and labour-law compliance across European locations.

- Provide first-line HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, covering new hires, onboarding, contractual changes, annual salary reviews, and bonus processes.
- Manage employee and manager queries, resolving them within established payroll, salary review, performance review, and bonus timelines.
- Recommend process improvements and escalate obstacles or issues that could affect defined service-level agreements.
- Capture and document lessons learned from resolving employee and manager queries.
- Lead Grade 3 and below recruitment activities, including job advertising, CV screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Handle employee concerns and grievances, working with Employee Relations and Compliance teams and escalating complex cases.
- Administer employee benefits and pension plans, and support payroll data preparation.
- Support performance reviews, goal-setting activities, and performance improvement plans.
- Maintain the Workday training portfolio and contribute to professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies while maintaining and archiving employee records.
- Maintain HR systems including Workday, HR Bot, and HR SharePoint.
- Prepare employment administration and manage related HR documentation.
- Guide managers on HR matters, employee relations, and legal compliance.
- Carry out activities in line with Health and Safety policies and frameworks.

- Prior experience as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or HR Coordinator, preferably within a multicultural, matrix-based organisation.
- Fluency in English and the language of the country where the role is based.
- French language proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage and work through complex situations.
- Confidence handling large and complex datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver services and meet deadlines.
- Strong prioritisation, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational capabilities.
