Technical Support Analyst Contract – Canada Remote

Provide technical support for domain migration and Microsoft Windows environments, including hardware, software, networks, and Exchange. This part-time contract role supports ClaimsPro’s Canadian claims-services team.

Description

  • Support end users through migration to a new domain
  • Maintain company hardware and software
  • Manage support requests and remain accountable for incidents through resolution
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows workstations and servers
  • Set up and maintain peripherals and network hardware
  • Record system configurations and IT operating standards
  • Implement and oversee security policies
  • Complete data backup and recovery activities
  • Carry out hardware and software upgrades
  • Configure and troubleshoot corporate Exchange email
  • Contribute to infrastructure and software projects of small to medium complexity
  • Report project progress to IT stakeholders
  • Recognize project risks, escalate issues to management, and support mitigation efforts
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in IT is preferred
  • 0–2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11
  • Experience administering Active Directory users and groups
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving computer hardware issues
  • Email administration experience with Exchange or Office 365 is an asset
  • Experience with VPN software is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Effective organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends

Benefits
