Senior HR Operations Business Partner

The Senior HR Operations Business Partner improves HCM processes and services for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This role leads adoption, change readiness, reporting, training, and process improvement initiatives.

Description

  • Build trusted relationships that support professional and productive collaboration
  • Lead customer engagement and change-readiness efforts, including requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, communications planning, and adoption support
  • Work with division leaders to monitor strategic priorities, evaluate execution and customer outcomes, and recommend service improvements
  • Promote HCM adoption and optimization by standardizing processes, reducing local workarounds, measuring usage, and reporting results
  • Provide customers with timely reporting, availability, and clear expectations
  • Act as both a customer advocate and an HR Operations authority
  • Represent the field HR perspective through specialized HR business knowledge
  • Shape HR initiatives by collaborating with peers, leaders, and HR representatives
  • Support cross-functional projects and working groups by gathering and synthesizing data for process improvements
  • Help define channel strategies for HR processes, support, and knowledge across self-service, shared services, experts, and the Service Missionary Office
  • Plan and deliver strategic and operational initiatives aligned with customer needs and HR priorities
  • Train and instruct users on business processes and supporting products
  • Verify that HR processes address team and department requirements
  • Create troubleshooting guidance, investigate issues, recommend solutions, and advise management on process and product improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in HR business operations or a related professional field
  • At least four years of experience managing or executing core business processes, including work with an HCM system
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers
  • Strong partnership skills for developing effective solutions
  • Ability to connect strategic priorities with essential HR requirements
  • Skill in synthesizing information and delivering clear, concise, complete responses
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with one or more HCM systems
  • Ability to train and tutor individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated focus, discipline, accountability, and consistently strong performance
  • Experience with abstract reasoning, problem-solving, statistical compilation, and presentation development
  • Proficiency in project management and roadmap planning
  • Ability to meet physical requirements such as prolonged sitting and computer use
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
