Description
- Handle inbound calls from customers, repair facilities, and dealers about Vehicle Service Contract claims
- Examine contracts to confirm coverage eligibility and compliance with claims procedures
- Collect and assess parts and labor estimates using automotive labor guide tools such as Alldata and Mitchell ProDemand
- Determine claim eligibility, apply relevant benefits, and explain claim decisions and payment procedures
- Process claim records and maintain accurate documentation in the Toro system
- Prepare claim summaries and provide status updates to leadership
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer service and verbal communication ability
- Strong critical-thinking skills and sound judgment when making claims decisions
- Careful attention to detail with accurate documentation practices
- Ability to remain organized and adjust to a fast-paced work environment
- At least two years of experience in automotive claims, automotive repair, customer service, or a call center setting
- Experience working in a computer-based business environment
- Ability to interpret contracts and vehicle repair estimates
- ASE certification is preferred
- Spanish fluency is considered an advantage
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer is required
