Field Service Technician – GLORY (Pennsylvania Remote)

Provide field service for GLORY’s high-speed cash-handling equipment across the Wynnewood territory. Support customers through troubleshooting, repairs, installations, upgrades, and onsite maintenance.

Description

  • Oversee customer service and support for assigned clients
  • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed cash-handling equipment independently
  • Maintain accurate control of parts and service tools
  • Keep current with technical and functional updates to GLORY equipment
  • Promote positive customer experiences throughout each service interaction
  • Diagnose equipment and system issues and complete necessary repairs
  • Communicate maintenance progress and downtime updates to customers
  • Perform machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, system upgrades, and hardware or software upgrades
  • Comply with applicable safety procedures and company policies
  • Complete required Environmental Health and Safety training
  • Report job-site injuries and property damage without delay
  • Travel regularly to customer locations in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and nearby areas
  • Report service activity to the District Service Manager

Requirements

  • Professional study or completion in electromechanics, electrical engineering, or comparable work experience
  • Related certifications in mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office, network sites, and email
  • Ability to troubleshoot logically and isolate faults to the PCB or component level
  • Ability to read and use electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital and analog circuitry
  • Experience repairing high-speed paper-handling equipment; ATM or copier repair experience is preferred
  • Three to five years of technical field service repair experience is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, or roughly 40 miles of it, or be willing to relocate; relocation assistance is unavailable
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and frequently kneel, bend, squat, and twist
  • Ability to work at customer locations such as financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail stores
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Availability for an on-call rotation, generally once every three to five weeks, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to drive to customer locations during working hours
  • Willingness to make occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air and overnight travel
  • Ability to work in locations with limited accessibility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
