Chief of Staff, Sales Operations — RELX — Remote

Lead sales operations for LexisNexis’s global data solutions business by building Salesforce and Gong reporting and processes. Strengthen sales execution, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and operational accountability.

Description

  • Work closely with the Global Head of Sales and international sales leaders to address priorities, operating challenges, and execution opportunities
  • Assess inefficiencies, process gaps, and seller and manager friction, then develop practical improvements
  • Enhance Sales collaboration with Marketing, Pricing, Legal, and Revenue Operations
  • Structure ambiguous business problems and drive high-priority initiatives through to implementation
  • Streamline processes while adding discipline and accountability where they support stronger performance
  • Design and build the Salesforce and Gong reporting environment used to manage the global sales organization
  • Provide visibility into new business, renewals, pipeline generation, seller activity, opportunity progression, campaigns, win rates, sales cycles, deal size, aging, and other core sales metrics
  • Convert management questions into dashboards and reports for representatives, managers, regions, and global leadership
  • Manage a small team while continuing to contribute directly to hands-on work

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Effectiveness, or a comparable role supporting a complex sales organization
  • Hands-on experience creating Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Gong or a comparable platform for analyzing and improving sales execution
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise sales, including new business, renewals, pipeline management, forecasting, activity tracking, account planning, and performance management
  • Advanced analytical ability with a track record of converting data into clear management insight and action
  • Commercial judgment and the ability to quickly assess how a sales organization operates and where it can improve
  • A hands-on operating approach with a strong bias toward action
  • Experience managing a small team and collaborating across a global organization
  • Willingness to work Eastern Time hours regularly
