Strategic Sales Representative, West Coast

Sell RR Donnelley’s marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions to business customers. Develop opportunities through market research, cold outreach, presentations, and account planning.

Description

  • Sell RR Donnelley products and solutions to assigned-territory customers by phone or electronic communication.
  • Research markets and companies to find prospective clients and contacts.
  • Reach prospective customers through cold calls.
  • Arrange and lead introductory meetings by phone or virtually.
  • Create sales strategies for presenting products and solutions.
  • Present to clients remotely or onsite.
  • Respond to requests for proposals, bids, and information.
  • Share client and account knowledge with Sales and Client Services colleagues.
  • Log every customer interaction in the customer relationship management system.
  • Stay informed about RR Donnelley products and industry developments.
  • Review and refine account and prospect data to develop an individual forecast and sales plan.
  • Manage sales independently or alongside another RR Donnelley sales representative.

Requirements

  • Experience promoting packaging, labels such as UV thermal coated and RFID labels, and supply chain solutions is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable customer relationship management software is preferred.
  • Creative, analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Experience collaborating with individuals and teams across departments.
  • Strong organization and the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to business needs.
  • B2B sales experience is preferred.
  • An associate degree and two years of inside or enterprise solutions sales experience are preferred.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Must be able to work in the United States; the role is based in the United States.
