Description

  • Maintain the technology and systems that support daily HR operations
  • Coordinate between Human Resources, county departments, and technology teams
  • Improve processes, resolve system issues, analyze data, produce reports, and support the county HRIS
  • Administer and maintain human resources systems
  • Diagnose system and data problems and develop solutions that improve user functionality
  • Facilitate data transfers to external partners
  • Process personnel actions
  • Investigate and resolve system errors
  • Assess requests for system modifications
  • Develop reports, templates, and databases for HR operations, organizational analysis, and informed decisions
  • Oversee systems and information backups through records management, application analysis, and reporting tools
  • Procure supplies and equipment and manage inventory
  • Investigate computer issues involving LAN, WAN, databases, applications, or equipment
  • Train users by preparing instructional materials and leading training sessions
  • Design, implement, and maintain software and hardware specifications
  • Interview end users to identify system needs, configure systems, and coordinate implementations

Requirements

  • Option A: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Management, or a related field demonstrating knowledge of scripting or programming and system report generation
  • Option A: Experience providing systems administration support, including setting user permissions, troubleshooting enterprise systems, preserving data integrity, and ensuring data mapping
  • Option A: Experience using Microsoft Excel for formulas, pivot tables, data imports and exports, and formatting
  • Option A: Experience analyzing data and presenting potential solutions to stakeholders
  • Option B: Experience with scripting or programming languages, including data querying and data imports and exports
  • Option B: Experience creating reports with report-generation software or enterprise reporting systems such as HRIS, financial, timekeeping, or UKG Ready systems
  • Option B: Experience providing systems administration support
  • Option B: Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Option B: Experience analyzing data and presenting potential solutions to stakeholders
  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
