Senior Frontend Engineer, Analytics Product Lead
Lead frontend development for CMG’s DataLab analytics product, shaping React and TypeScript interfaces for its equity capital markets platform. Set direction for frontend architecture, testing, accessibility, and technical practices.
Description
- Lead frontend development for CMG’s DataLab product and help guide the Western Hemisphere Mission Control team.
- Contribute to the frontend development harness, use it in daily work, and promote its adoption across the team.
- Build and maintain complex, scalable web interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Work with the cross-functional product team to identify effective solutions.
- Improve frontend architecture, component design, accessibility, performance, and developer experience.
- Support product quality with unit, component, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and engineering leaders.
- Turn complex business requirements into clear, maintainable code.
- Shape frontend technical direction through research, prototyping, code reviews, and production-ready implementation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of React experience.
- At least 5 years of TypeScript experience.
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience leading frontend technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and setting UI architecture standards.
- Ability to use agentic coding tools productively while maintaining high standards for correctness, security, maintainability, and team collaboration; tools used include Claude, Codex, and CoPilot.
- Solid full-stack experience, such as with Node.js; CMG uses .NET.
- Fintech experience is a plus.
- Experience with GraphQL, Nx monorepo, Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Storybook, and Material UI.
