Administrative Assistant - Schaeffler, Wooster, OH (Onsite)

Administrative Assistant supporting plant leadership and employees at Schaeffler’s Wooster, Ohio facility. The role coordinates administration, onboarding, meetings, supplies, travel, customer visits, and employee events.

Description

  • Provide daily administrative support to plant leadership and team members
  • Assist with employee onboarding and related administrative processes
  • Order, monitor, and maintain office supplies, equipment, and other plant materials
  • Coordinate office and administrative requirements with vendors and suppliers
  • Organize internal meetings, training sessions, employee events, town halls, and leadership meetings
  • Help deliver employee engagement and recognition events
  • Manage customer-visit logistics, including schedules, catering, travel, and facility preparation
  • Create meeting materials, agendas, and presentation content
  • Help track plant metrics, performance indicators, and administrative records
  • Support the Plant Manager with meeting schedules, calendar management, travel bookings, expense reports, and general task coordination

Requirements

  • Associate degree required
  • Previous experience in administration, office management, executive assistance, or manufacturing support preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and comfort working across all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
