  • Provide clerical support to the Vice President of Sales for local sales operations
  • Help expand customer service channel options through Customer Engagement initiatives
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents in Microsoft Office
  • Manage the Vice President of Sales’ email correspondence
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and hotel bookings for sales employees
  • Process hotel-room payroll deductions in accordance with company policy
  • Provide administrative support for food shows and sales meetings
  • Handle company donation requests and related correspondence
  • Screen incoming calls and relay messages to the Vice President of Sales
  • Maintain files and local customer information in Sysco 360 CRM
  • Research information using CRT or PC systems
  • Prepare and distribute promotional reports
  • Purchase supplies for the Sales Department
  • Coordinate the scheduling, preparation, and attendance of DSM meetings, sales meetings, and food shows
  • Gather, organize, and distribute point-of-sale materials and flyers
  • Produce Business Objects tracking and commission reports
  • Build and update promotional tracking spreadsheets
  • Assist with reception, supply ordering, and other administrative duties as business needs require

  • High school education is required
  • 1–2 years of related administrative experience supporting an executive-level supervisor
  • Strong computer proficiency with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Accurate typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
  • Familiarity with Sysco sales processes, organizational structure, and product categories is preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Professional, composed, and diplomatic approach when working under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven ability to plan and organize work activities
  • Ability to analyze and distribute forms
  • Efficient time management and adherence to procedures and policies
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Experience with alphabetical, numerical, and chronological filing systems
  • Ability to perform arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; calculate rates, ratios, and percentages; and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to proofread and correct English spelling and grammar in documents
  • Adaptable, creative, and willing to learn
  • Ability to protect confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Current authorization to work in the United States
