Opis

  • Provide Tier II help desk support to the Office of Policy and Program Development (CG-LPD).
  • Administer Tomcat servers and manage patches for a case management application used by U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement units.
  • Track system and application health and activity to identify issues and maintain service continuity.
  • Create accounts and manage access for approximately 2,000 personnel, including resolving access problems.
  • Generate database reports in response to user and leadership requests.
  • Maintain security documentation and controls, address findings, and prepare Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Keep systems compliant with eMASS deadlines.
  • Handle service desk tickets and technical assistance requests involving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Record troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Create, update, disable, and reset passwords for user accounts.
  • Drive resolution of complex IT issues.
  • Work with engineering teams to address recurring or systemic problems.
  • Help improve help desk processes and reporting.

Zahteve

  • Hold a Security+ certification or higher.
  • Have at least five years of experience with Case Matter Tracking Systems.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Provide a post-employment ethics letter if applicable to recent U.S. government employment.
  • Experience working with the military or government is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities are preferred.
  • Effective time management and the ability to multitask and prioritize are preferred.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are preferred.
