Opis

  • Own the target architecture for OnTrac’s AI-powered logistics platform on Google Cloud.
  • Build agentic and multi-agent systems, covering orchestration, planning, tool use, memory and state, human oversight, and agent-to-agent communication.
  • Create an MCP server ecosystem that gives AI agents governed, reusable access to logistics services and enterprise data.
  • Design AI-ready data platforms with batch and streaming pipelines, lakehouse and warehouse architectures, feature stores, and vector stores.
  • Establish a shared data model and event taxonomy for orders, shipments, scans, locations, containers, and drivers.
  • Set API and integration architecture using API-first practices, REST, gRPC, asynchronous APIs, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Apigee, Pub/Sub, and Kafka.
  • Apply and document distributed systems and AI patterns, including microservices, domain-driven design, event sourcing, CQRS, sagas, ReAct, planner-executor, supervisor/router agents, and advanced RAG.
  • Develop proofs of concept, prototypes, and reference implementations, and write production-quality code alongside engineering teams.
  • Apply AI to order intake, address validation and geocoding, route optimization, delivery promises and ETA predictions, exception handling, control tower operations, driver and dispatch support, and conversational customer experiences.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews, write architecture decision records, contribute to governance and technology choices, and mentor engineers.
  • Report to the CTO and work with platform, core, and domain engineering teams.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • At least 7 years working in an architecture role.
  • At least 2 years delivering generative AI or LLM solutions hands-on.
  • At least 3 years designing, building, and operating production solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • At least 3 years in last-mile delivery, parcel, or logistics, supporting operational technology such as route planning, sortation, scanning, tracking, or driver and dispatch systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise API management and integration platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, or Azure API Management.
  • Extensive hands-on agentic AI expertise, including Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, multi-agent orchestration, tool and function calling, agent memory, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and agent-to-agent (A2A) protocols.
  • Expertise in GCP architecture and AI/data services, including Vertex AI, Gemini, Vertex AI Vector Search, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, GKE, Cloud Run, and Apigee.
  • Expertise in data engineering for AI, including data modeling, batch and stream processing, ETL/ELT, CDC, lakehouse design, feature and vector stores, data quality, and governance.
  • Strong API management and integration knowledge, including API design standards, gateways, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Kafka, and Pub/Sub.
  • Strong DevOps, MLOps, and LLMOps skills, including Terraform, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, model and prompt versioning, automated evaluation, and LLM observability tools.
  • Understanding of last-mile delivery and parcel logistics, including parcel lifecycle, scan events, network planning, routing, geospatial data, and driver and carrier operations.
  • Ability to combine hands-on engineering with architectural leadership and manage priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Google Cloud Professional certifications and experience establishing an AI center of excellence, agent platform, or reference architectures are preferred.
