Opis

  • Create and maintain purchase orders in line with established procedures
  • Confirm purchasing needs, coding, quantities, delivery details, documentation, and approvals with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and operational teams
  • Track requests, orders, approvals, deliveries, supplier responses, and outstanding documents; share updates and follow up
  • Research products, suppliers, pricing, inventory, coding, order records, and documents to resolve routine discrepancies
  • Help create and maintain item records, collect vendor documents, process supplier setup requests, and update inventory systems
  • Support purchasing forecasts, minimum order quantities, reorder points, pricing updates, product orders, reports, tracking tools, and dashboards
  • Work with Accounts Payable and suppliers to investigate invoice mismatches, receipt problems, pricing variances, and purchase order issues
  • Respond to process questions, check order details, follow up with vendors, and help resolve routine ordering problems
  • Train across relevant tasks to provide coverage during absences and busy periods
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Zahteve

  • One to two years of preferred experience in purchasing, procurement operations, inventory support, finance, accounting, accounts payable, vendor coordination, or related business operations
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Excel and purchasing, inventory, ERP, or reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of purchasing processes, purchase order handling, vendor coordination, item setup and maintenance, data integrity, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to follow purchasing policies, approval processes, documentation standards, and internal controls
  • Ability to review requests, verify supporting information, investigate discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and escalate exceptions appropriately
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving ability, organization, research skills, and follow-through
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory, vendors, suppliers, warehouse teams, and operational stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications required
  • Experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, ReQlogic, ERP systems, Power Query, Power BI, or similar reporting and purchasing tools preferred
  • Ability to safeguard confidential purchasing, vendor, inventory, and financial information
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered
