Inspect, repair, adjust, and install Pella windows and doors in the field. Serve customers across New Jersey and New York while diagnosing issues and completing service records.

Descriere

  • Complete assigned field service work on Pella products
  • Diagnose and resolve challenging product and installation issues in the field
  • Replace window and door glass and install sashes, shades, blinds, muntins, screens, and related components
  • Explain Pella product care, operation, and maintenance to customers
  • Prepare and update documentation following service visits
  • Perform follow-up work and communicate with customers to close assigned service tickets
  • Conduct job-site walkthroughs, document findings, and flag items needing attention before project completion
  • Collect customer payments when required
  • Identify and order parts for follow-up visits while coordinating with the internal CSR team
  • Maintain weekly inventory of required parts and equipment
  • Promote customer satisfaction and market-share growth as a Customer Experience Champion
  • Support training for new Service Technicians, Customer Service Representatives, and other team members
  • Maintain the assigned service vehicle and coordinate maintenance with the manager and service team
  • Identify opportunities to improve service processes
  • Follow safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and report hazards
  • Follow the company Fleet Safety Policy
  • Serve customers throughout New Jersey and New York

Cerințe

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Reliable and consistent work history
  • Experience using power tools, including table saws, circular or miter saws, pneumatic nail guns, and power drills
  • Working knowledge of general construction
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to become proficient with Pella proprietary software, including OSC/OFS, PQM, and OMS
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, understand, and explain sales processes, product specifications, and warranty manuals
  • Strong public relations, presentation, and customer service abilities
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to investigate problems and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to manage projects through completion
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
  • Window and door installation experience is preferred
  • Associate of Arts or technical degree is preferred
  • 0–2 years of field service or general business experience is preferred
