Cloud Native Support Engineer – Italy (Remote)
L2 Cloud Native Support Engineer at Kiratech, working with Cloud Native, AI, and security technologies. Handle L2 tickets, incidents, troubleshooting, and platform automation for customer environments.
Descriere
- Operate customers’ Cloud Native platforms
- Provide second-line technical support
- Own and manage L2 support tickets
- Investigate alerts, events, and incidents
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and middleware environments
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate technical issues
- Work during standard business hours and on-call rotations
- Maintain operational documentation
- Partner with senior team members on escalations and root cause analyses
- Help develop automation and runbooks that reduce manual and recurring work
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of managed services
- Participate in managing and evolving customers’ Cloud Native platforms
Cerințe
- Technical STEM education in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Data Science
- Interest in emerging technologies, generative AI, cloud architectures, and modern security
- Practical experience with L2 technical support, troubleshooting, service management, monitoring, incident management, or Cloud Native platform operations
- Ability to analyze technical issues, document completed work, and support escalations to senior specialists
- Willingness to experiment, build proofs of concept, and work with new tools
- Initiative to contribute to operational solutions, automation, runbooks, and internal labs
- Interest or experience in complex systems, distributed systems, Kubernetes platforms, automation, observability, compliance, and operational security
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, document activities, share knowledge, and initiate technical escalations
- Experience with or knowledge of troubleshooting and incident management
- Linux systems administration skills
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language, particularly Python or Bash
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman
- Professional proficiency in English
- Native Italian speaker
