Claims Operations Manager - UK Remote

Manage end-to-end reinsurance claims servicing for Augment Risk across global capital markets. Build effective controls, reporting, and scalable claims processes for distributed markets.

Descriere

  • Design and run claims intake, triage, tracking, and escalation processes across treaty and delegated authority reinsurance.
  • Coordinate claim notifications, bordereaux, reserve movements, supporting documents, and information requests between cedants, reinsurers, fronting carriers, TPAs, and internal teams.
  • Keep a complete, auditable claims register covering status, ownership, financial movements, next steps, and escalation triggers.
  • Track reporting and payment obligations.
  • Partner with Technical Accounting and Treasury to support accurate, timely claims settlements.
  • Resolve operational issues involving aged claims, incomplete data, disputed items, and delayed responses.
  • Escalate commercial, coverage, and conduct concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Work with Wordings, Legal and Compliance, and broking teams to ensure claims handling complies with contract terms and delegated authorities.
  • Prepare management reports on claim volumes, ageing, reserves, payment status, exceptions, and recurring root causes.
  • Strengthen processes, controls, and systems as the portfolio grows, including practical automation and structured data use.
  • Create a dependable single view of claims and their financial position.
  • Set clear service standards, ownership, and escalation paths for every active claim.
  • Reduce claim ageing and preventable exceptions while reinforcing confidence among clients and market partners.

Cerințe

  • At least five years of relevant experience in claims operations, claims servicing, or reinsurance claims within a broker, insurer, MGA, managing agent, TPA, or reinsurer.
  • Strong knowledge of claims bordereaux, loss reporting, reserves, settlement workflows, and reinsurance contract administration.
  • Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and keep complex matters progressing with detail and accountability intact.
  • Excellent written communication, sound judgement, strong organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being developed alongside day-to-day operations.
  • Experience with Lloyd’s and London market claims processes is preferred.
  • Experience supporting delegated authority, specialty, or complex reinsurance portfolios is preferred.
  • Familiarity with broker management, claims, or accounting systems and data-driven process improvement is preferred.
