Technical Support Engineer – India (Remote)

Provide technical support for Gruve’s networks, systems, and wireless infrastructure in a remote India-based role. Troubleshoot connectivity, monitor performance, and support 4G/5G technologies.

Description

  • Maintain reliable, high-performing system and network services
  • Diagnose wireless devices, including access points and switches
  • Monitor installed systems and infrastructure to support availability and reliability
  • Assess platform behavior and propose improvements to systems and infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls, networking, and security systems
  • Administer IP addresses and resolve support tickets within defined SLAs
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
  • Support 4G/5G LTE and other wireless technologies
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Develop and supervise the rollout of internal and external policies
  • Lead and contribute to technical sessions
  • Coordinate projects involving multiple organizations
  • Oversee technical implementation and troubleshooting discussions

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, security, and system performance management
  • Experience using ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira Service Management, Microsoft platforms, Slack, and Nagios
  • Foundational knowledge of networking, servers, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
  • Working knowledge of routing and switching protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, PPP, Ethernet, FTP, DHCP, OSPF, VLAN, VTP, BGP, EIGRP, ACL, VoIP, firewalls, LAN, and WAN
  • Strong ability to configure systems and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Proficiency in IP address administration and SLA-based ticket resolution
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
  • Experience providing technical support for 4G/5G LTE and wireless technologies
  • CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification is an advantage
  • Open to fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to work 24/7 rotational shifts, including nights and weekends
  • BE/B.Tech, MCA, or master’s degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills
