Talent Acquisition Data Engineering and Analytics Graduate Intern (Remote)

Build Snowflake data pipelines, dimensional models, and Power BI dashboards for Solidigm’s Talent Acquisition analytics. Support automated reporting across recruiting operations, funnel performance, workforce planning, and service metrics.

Description

  • Connect and validate Talent Acquisition source systems with Snowflake
  • Set up Power BI connections and scheduled data refreshes
  • Add data quality controls and monitor refresh activity
  • Create a query-ready dimensional model in Snowflake
  • Develop and tune SQL transformations for analysis tables and historical reporting
  • Build Power BI dashboards for executive reporting, requisition and pipeline health, funnel conversion, time-to-fill, time-in-stage, offers, sourcing, recruiter workload, and Talent Acquisition service levels
  • Create a governed semantic layer with certified DAX measures
  • Apply row-level security and improve model performance
  • Document pipeline architecture, data lineage, model diagrams, measure definitions, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Prepare user guides and lead enablement sessions for Talent Acquisition Operations and HR leadership
  • Work with Talent Acquisition leaders to define priorities and convert business questions into measurable metrics
  • Present dashboard demonstrations and analytical findings
  • Deliver the Snowflake pipeline, dimensional model, Power BI dashboard suite, refresh monitoring, technical documentation, enablement materials, and future analytics roadmap

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization
  • Practical experience creating Power BI dashboards with DAX measures and data models
  • Experience using Python or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Working knowledge of dimensional modeling and dataset design
  • Understanding of ETL and ELT workflows and data pipeline maintenance
  • Ability to turn unclear business questions into structured, measurable analytics requirements
  • Able to handle confidential candidate and employee information in line with Solidigm’s data privacy and handling standards
  • Preferred: experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
  • Preferred: experience setting up automated refreshes, scheduled jobs, or orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory
  • Preferred: experience administering Power BI Service workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines, or row-level security
  • Preferred: experience working with APIs or system-to-system integrations
  • Preferred: experience handling large datasets in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Preferred: familiarity with Git and analytics engineering methods
  • Preferred: exposure to AI or machine learning techniques and workforce data
  • Preferred: interest in HR, Talent Acquisition, or workforce analytics
