Description

  • Collect, research, analyze, and present findings related to portfolio performance
  • Apply advanced analytical methods to reduce risk and uncover data capture and reporting opportunities
  • Collaborate with business teams and IT to build streamlined data and decision-support solutions
  • Contribute to modeling activities as needed
  • Provide business insight and analytical expertise aligned with company objectives
  • Examine large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Identify previously overlooked inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytical models that inform decisions
  • Estimate the potential business value of identified opportunities
  • Advance AI, automation, and process improvement efforts through data analysis
  • Work with stakeholders to turn analytical results into practical recommendations

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets through data mining and manipulation
  • Experience with technical systems, datasets, data warehouses, analytical methods, and data visualization
  • Knowledge of consumer auto lending or leasing portfolios preferred
  • Ability to create and implement process documentation and monitoring procedures
  • Experience working with relational and dimensional datasets
  • Strong quantitative reasoning, analytical ability, and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to distill complex data into clear information for management
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SAS, R, or a comparable programming language required
  • Proficiency in data visualization principles and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, and SAS Visual Analytics preferred
  • Strong research skills with the ability to locate and pursue necessary information
  • Strong written and verbal presentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with internal customers and external vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks under time-sensitive conditions
  • At least 3 years of data mining and query tool experience in a comparable role required
  • At least 3 years of auto finance experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, another quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered
  • The position does not accept agency submissions
