Senior Executive, Healthcare Accounts Receivable Operations
Manage outstanding US healthcare claims and receivables for EXL. Contact insurers, update patient accounts, resolve denials, and achieve defined productivity and quality targets.
Description
- Manage assigned outstanding receivables portfolios through review, analysis, and follow-up
- Contact insurance representatives for claim updates and resolution
- Achieve daily productivity targets while maintaining required quality standards
- Pursue outstanding and denied claims to help prevent revenue loss
- Prioritize pending claims according to aging-bucket status
- Review unpaid insurance claims for follow-up action
- Verify incomplete or unclear patient insurance information
- Escalate complex collection matters to management
- Resolve patient billing questions and maintain accurate account information
- Post cash receipts and record contractual write-offs
- Deliver individual daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline
- Bring 3–6 years of BPO experience
- US healthcare accounts receivable experience is preferred
- Demonstrate strong spoken and written communication skills
- Maintain a high-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Understand and comply with the telecommuter policy
- Follow confidentiality and HIPAA requirements when contacting insurance companies
