Sales Operations Manager – Edmonton (Hybrid)

Jobber is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to improve sales-channel processes for its software serving small home-service businesses. The role leads data-driven initiatives from diagnosis through implementation and performance measurement.

Description

  • Own Sales Operations support for an assigned sales channel or strategic priority.
  • Advise channel leaders and understand their objectives and performance drivers.
  • Assess operational challenges and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend strategic actions and help shape quarterly priorities.
  • Diagnose operational issues using stakeholder perspectives, workflow assessments, and data analysis.
  • Develop evidence bases, quantify potential impact, and present recommendations with clear trade-offs.
  • Map existing processes, requirements, ownership, handoffs, dependencies, and failure points.
  • Create process improvements that are simpler, more efficient, and scalable.
  • Guide channel initiatives from discovery and scoping through delivery, rollout, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Establish requirements, delivery plans, milestones, ownership, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery, remove obstacles, and raise risks when needed.
  • Plan rollouts that address communications, documentation, training, readiness, and post-launch assistance.
  • Provide leadership-ready reporting on progress, milestones, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  • Lead discovery workshops, working sessions, status meetings, and launch-readiness reviews.
  • Collaborate with RevTech, Enablement, Sales Planning, Finance, Analytics, and Sales teams.
  • Equip affected teams to adopt new processes, tools, and expectations.
  • Track adoption, operational health, stakeholder feedback, and business outcomes.
  • Relate initiative outcomes to productivity, conversion, pipeline quality, sales-cycle duration, or forecast accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bring 3–5 years of experience, preferably in management consulting, technology, strategy, or business or revenue operations.
  • Have led client- or stakeholder-facing workstreams from defining the problem through delivering recommendations.
  • Translate ambiguous business challenges into hypotheses, validate them with data and stakeholder interviews, and produce clear recommendations.
  • Write executive-ready recommendations and decision memos.
  • Facilitate discussions with leadership effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of projects and dependable follow-through.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders.
  • Apply sound operational judgment, making independent decisions or escalating when appropriate.
  • Manage competing priorities while preserving accuracy and organization.
  • Recognize opportunities to use AI and automation in channel workflows.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, go-to-market, or strategic operations is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Inbound, Outbound, Account Management, or Channel Partnerships sales channels is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales technology platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with system implementations, process redesign, user acceptance testing, or operational rollouts is preferred.
  • Exposure to sales planning, forecasting, routing, pipeline management, compensation, or performance reporting is preferred.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Successfully complete a background check, including identity verification.
  • Attend the office at least one day per week according to the department schedule.
