Remote Business Systems Analyst – U.S. Navy HR Analytics

Support U.S. Navy HR operations through requirements analysis, workflow improvement, reporting, and dashboard development at GDIT. Deliver metrics, analytics, and leadership briefings for DON programs using SharePoint, Cognos BI, Qlik, Databricks, and related tools.

Description

  • Provide daily HR support across multiple MAHRS departments within the DON M&RA organization
  • Maintain assigned Microsoft SharePoint sites
  • Assess, document, and recommend SharePoint site designs
  • Prepare functional requirements, workflows, communication plans, and implementation strategies
  • Review business processes, operating procedures, and workflows and recommend enhancements
  • Produce system and functional requirements documentation with solution recommendations
  • Maintain MAHRS and EEO policies, guidance, SOPs, business processes, and related documentation
  • Create test scenarios for enhancements, defect fixes, upgrades, and new implementations
  • Build and support HRLink and DON Jupiter reports, dashboards, metrics, and visualizations with Cognos BI, Qlik, Databricks, and other analytics tools
  • Produce ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations for MAHRS and EEO program managers
  • Build and populate corporate dashboards and scorecards
  • Provide technical and functional support for EEO systems, including iComplaints, NEAT, FEDSEP, and IRCMS
  • Design processes for capturing Applicant Flow Data, OCLF benchmarking, and Barrier Analysis datasets
  • Automate related database tables and workflows
  • Prepare briefing charts and detailed explanations of data for leadership
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR and EEO reports
  • Prepare OPM and DoD metric briefs, including data extraction and transformation
  • Provide logistical and operational support for assigned MAHRS and EEO events

Requirements

  • Five years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and metrics with Cognos BI, DON/Jupiter tools, or comparable analytics platforms
  • Three years of experience using federal HR data for reporting and analysis
  • Two years of Microsoft SharePoint content management experience
  • Experience with business process analysis, requirements documentation, and workflow design
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret HR and EEO performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to create test plans, documentation, and business cases
  • Proficiency developing dashboards, scorecards, and analytics products for senior leadership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Completed NACI or ANACI background investigation
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must receive favorable background investigation results before the start date
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and deliver a high-quality customer experience
