Field Service Technician – GLORY – Pennsylvania

Provide field service for GLORY cash-handling equipment across York, Pennsylvania, and nearby customer sites. The role includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, system upgrades, and customer support.

Description

  • Manage customer service and client support throughout each service engagement
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair high-speed cash-handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate control of parts and service tools
  • Stay informed about technical and functional updates to GLORY equipment
  • Support a consistently positive customer experience
  • Diagnose equipment faults and complete necessary repairs
  • Keep customers updated during maintenance work and system outages
  • Perform machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, system upgrades, and hardware or software upgrades
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and policies
  • Complete required Environmental Health and Safety training
  • Promptly report job-site incidents involving injury or property damage
  • Report service activities and issues to the District Service Manager
  • Travel regularly to customer locations in York, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having completed professional training in electromechanics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field experience
  • Relevant industry certifications are preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Working familiarity with personal computers, Microsoft Office, network sites, and email
  • Sound logical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to isolate PCB- or component-level faults
  • Ability to interpret and use electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital and analog circuitry
  • Experience servicing high-speed paper-handling equipment is preferred; ATM or copier experience is also preferred
  • Three to five years of technical field-service repair experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist
  • Ability to work at customer locations such as financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail stores
  • Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Availability for an on-call rotation, generally once every three to five weeks, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to drive to customer locations during working hours
  • Willingness to make occasional air and overnight trips outside the assigned territory when required
  • Ability to work in locations with limited accessibility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must live within the assigned territory or relocate to within approximately 40 miles of York, Pennsylvania; relocation assistance is not available
