Description

  • Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Connect with customers in branch, by appointment, and through virtual channels
  • Evaluate customers’ banking needs and provide appropriate assistance
  • Collect and process customer and account details accurately
  • Explain and demonstrate deposit, lending, digital, and self-service products
  • Recommend banking solutions aligned with each customer’s objectives and needs
  • Welcome clients and handle routine banking transactions
  • Open consumer and business deposit accounts
  • Process service requests and submit credit applications
  • Work collaboratively with branch colleagues and business partners
  • Use available resources and technology to improve client service and operational accuracy

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Client Relationship Consultant 2 candidates typically need three to four years of related retail banking experience, or equivalent experience and training
  • Client Relationship Consultant 3 candidates typically need four to five years of related retail banking experience, or equivalent experience and training
  • Client Relationship Consultant 4 candidates typically need at least five years of related retail banking experience, or equivalent experience and training
  • NMLS registration is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • The NMLS registration process includes criminal background and credit checks
  • Maintain a satisfactory criminal and credit record for NMLS registration
  • Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Strong client communication and engagement skills
  • Working knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to determine customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Experience supporting sales campaigns or promotions for higher-level roles
  • Compliance with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including its Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety requirements
