Channel Sales Regional Partner Manager, Canada

Build Meter’s Canadian partner business from the ground up. Recruit resellers, MSPs, distributors, and advisors to grow networking revenue.

Description

  • Launch Meter’s partner business in Canada.
  • Select partners, tailor Meter’s playbook to the Canadian market, and turn relationships into closed revenue.
  • Re-engage existing partners and promote Meter to resellers, MSPs, TSDs, and their sellers.
  • Develop and execute a plan to scale Meter’s partner business across Canada.
  • Recruit and activate core partners, and drive deal registrations.
  • Work with Enterprise and Majors representatives to close partner-led deals.
  • Create a repeatable enablement program for partner sellers.
  • Learn and explain networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and security.
  • Identify and onboard VARs, MSPs, distributors, and TSD-affiliated advisors.
  • Meet partner sellers and regional leaders virtually and in person.
  • Map accounts with partners to identify key verticals and customers.
  • Coordinate partner-led deals with account executives, solutions engineers, marketing, and operations.
  • Train partners on Meter’s offering, roadmap, and competitive positioning.
  • Work with teams on incentives, MDF, SPIFFs, summits, and webinars.
  • Represent Meter at partner events, trade shows, and joint customer meetings; host events to generate pipeline.
  • Track partner pipeline metrics, forecast channel revenue, and report progress to Sales leadership.
  • Spend significant time at partner offices and customer sites across Canada.

Requirements

  • Consistently exceed partner-sourced revenue targets.
  • Have experience building new partner business through VARs, MSPs, distributors, TSDs, trusted advisors, or similar partners.
  • Know deal registration, MDF, SPIFFs, rebates, and partner program tiers.
  • Maintain strong, lasting relationships across Canada’s partner community.
  • Have channel sales experience with networking or adjacent infrastructure, such as routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, SASE, or security.
  • Have experience co-selling six- and seven-figure deals into complex enterprises alongside account executives and partner sellers.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and responsively, with strong presentation skills.
  • Have built a partner territory from scratch, ideally at a high-growth startup.
  • Be able to create repeatable partner playbooks.
  • Focus on revenue-generating action and move deals from registration to close.
  • Be based in Canada, ideally Toronto.
  • Be comfortable traveling more than 50% of the time.
