Business Operations Specialist — Sri Lanka Remote
Manage workflows, KPIs, documentation, and cross-functional operations for Oceans Talent’s global clients. Support executives, improve efficiency, and contribute to sustainable business growth.
Description
- Oversee daily operations, workflows, internal processes, and documentation
- Develop company policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines
- Spot operational inefficiencies and introduce practical improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives around shared business objectives
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs to assess operational performance
- Manage key business information and deliver timely executive insights
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Find opportunities to improve client scalability and efficiency
- Apply best practices and contribute to long-term strategic planning
- Act as the client contact for email, phone, and professional communications
- Improve information flow through timely updates and relevant data
- Create meeting agendas, presentations, and reports
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and other operations teams
- Support an assigned Executive under the direction of an Operations Manager
Requirements
- Professional fluency in English, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills
- At least three years of experience in a communication-intensive role at a reputable firm
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- An undergraduate degree is preferred but not required
- Relevant professional experience may substitute for the preferred degree
- MBA, CFA, CIM, CIPM, or CIMA certification is an advantage
- Availability for a split shift with some overlap with the client’s time zone
- Availability to attend in-person training during the first three and a half weeks
- Ability to work inclusively with people from varied backgrounds
