Bilingual Mandarin-English Client Intake Specialist

Support Mandarin-speaking clients at a U.S. immigration law firm by managing consultations, CRM records, scheduling, and communications remotely from Asia.

Description

  • Handle client inquiries by phone, email, and social media in Mandarin and English.
  • Assess prospective clients’ needs, arrange consultations, and guide them through intake.
  • Build client rapport, follow up on leads, and help meet monthly sales and consultation targets.
  • Coordinate calendars, inboxes, communications, and deadlines while supporting management’s daily operations.
  • Keep CRM records current, tracking client interactions, follow-ups, and intake progress.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, business partners, and other third parties.
  • Work with attorneys and colleagues to maintain clear communication, efficient workflows, and strong client service.
  • Complete a possible short video assessment based on a role-specific scenario during the application process.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in client relations, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
  • Experience at a U.S.-based law firm, preferably in immigration law, is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, online communication tools, and scheduling applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email management systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Reliable internet access and a dedicated home office.
  • Familiarity with RedNote, WeChat, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn for communications.
  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
