Bilingual French Roadside Assistance Agent Remote

Provide bilingual French and English roadside assistance to U-Haul customers remotely. Coordinate with customers, service providers, and support personnel to resolve roadside issues safely and efficiently.

Description

  • Respond to incoming roadside assistance calls from customers
  • Make outbound calls to customers, roadside providers, and other personnel
  • Use expertise and support to help customers safely continue their move
  • Apply established procedures with customer safety as the priority
  • Manage cases with calm urgency, professionalism, and care
  • Achieve assigned quality metrics and performance goals
  • Complete initial training from a private home workspace
  • Begin assisting customers during the first week of employment
  • Engage with customers under instructor guidance during initial training
  • Perform selected customer-facing duties from the first day
  • Take part in manager-coordinated, skills-focused continuing education

Requirements

  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Complete the Tech Skills and Game Criteria Assessments
  • Demonstrated sympathy, empathy, and compassion
  • Critical-thinking skills and adaptability
  • Intermediate keyboarding and computer proficiency
  • Strong, attentive listening skills
  • Ability to type while speaking; typing speeds of 40 WPM or higher are a plus
  • Ability to compose sentences in written communication
  • Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Clear speaking voice
  • General knowledge of U.S. and Canadian geography
  • General knowledge of mapping locations with various programs or applications
  • Willingness to apply feedback and continuously improve performance
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
  • Private, quiet workspace at home
  • Personal home computer that meets the stated technical requirements
  • Windows 11
  • At least 16GB of RAM
  • CPU benchmark score of at least 6,000
  • SSD with at least 5GB of available space
  • Bluetooth enabled
  • Webcam
  • Wired USB headset
  • Internet speeds with ping below 100 ms, at least 50 MB download, and at least 5 MB upload
  • Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday
  • Availability to work scheduled holidays
