Associate Field Service Technician - Ecuador (Remote)

Install, repair, and maintain Diebold Nixdorf hardware and software while supporting customers in the field. Provide customer training and technical assistance for banking and retail solutions.

Description

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain product hardware, software, and components, primarily at customer sites
  • Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other service activities
  • Complete minor product repairs within the assigned territory
  • Inspect products to confirm proper operation, resolving issues or escalating them according to established procedures
  • Schedule service appointments and complete all required documentation
  • Work with customers to ensure service satisfaction and understanding of product functionality
  • Learn and follow field service technician practices and procedures
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues through detailed analysis of hardware and software failures
  • Perform component-level hardware repairs
  • Clean and adjust mechanical components
  • Configure and install applicable software
  • Complete routine preventive maintenance checks according to documented procedures
  • Replenish consumables as instructed
  • Install, relocate, add, change, and remove hardware and software products
  • Instruct and train customers on the use and operation of installed hardware and software
  • Support implementation of measures to achieve agreed KPIs
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Education or equivalent work experience is required
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and field service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record that meet Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements
