Lead the ecommerce design team at Hustler Marketing, covering email and SMS campaigns, advertising creatives, GIFs, and short-form video. Own quality control, workload planning, mentoring, and collaboration across design and client-service teams.

- Lead the Design Team’s daily operations
- Uphold strong design standards across client deliverables
- Review creative work before it reaches Account Managers or clients, providing practical feedback
- Identify issues with hierarchy, contrast, calls to action, image-to-text balance, and mobile performance
- Guide Account Managers on visual campaign needs and challenge incomplete briefs
- Create designs directly when capacity requires
- Protect consistency across client brands, industries, and visual systems
- Define standards for email and SMS campaigns, advertising images, GIFs, and short videos
- Plan and coordinate the team’s weekly workload
- Reallocate assignments when priorities shift, colleagues are unavailable, or urgent client requests arise
- Balance workloads and help prevent missed deadlines
- Serve as the initial escalation point for blockers
- Ensure design objectives for client accounts are delivered
- Lead group meetings and recurring one-to-one sessions
- Gather team input, resolve concerns, and communicate outcomes
- Coach and develop designers
- Onboard new members of the design team
- Build connections with other service teams through workshops, tutorials, and documentation
- Lead training and professional development sessions
- Refine workflows, handoffs, and team communication
- Create and maintain design-team documentation
- Monitor Figma releases and introduce useful capabilities
- Keep up with developments in design and email marketing
- Share relevant industry practices with the Service Director and team
- Complete projects assigned by the Service Director
- Report to the Service Director and work with Account Managers and other Hustler Marketing departments
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of graphic design experience, including three or more years focused on email marketing design
- Advanced Figma expertise, including creating and using component libraries
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity
- Experience creating advertising images, animated GIFs, and short video edits
- A portfolio demonstrating effective, on-brand work across clients, stores, and industries
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating designers
- Able to assess design work and provide clear, specific written feedback
- Able to assign and reshuffle weekly team workloads, including with limited notice
- Basic knowledge of web design and landing pages is advantageous
- Experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform is advantageous
- Comfortable using Slack, Asana, Hubstaff, Google Workspace, and Figma
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Previous remote-work experience, preferably with teams working across time zones
- Available and responsive Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM Barcelona time
- Able to work consistently for 30 to 35 hours weekly or 140 hours monthly
- Has a stable internet connection, laptop or PC, and the ability to participate in video calls
