Senior Contract Management Specialist (Remote - United States)

Lead provider contract management systems, workflows, reporting, training, compliance, and process improvement for Cigna Healthcare. Partner with contracting, legal, regulatory, technology, and operational teams to support effective contract administration.

Descriere

  • Administer and configure the provider contract management system, including reference data, approval workflows, user access, permissions, and standard templates.
  • Collaborate with contracting leaders, governance groups, Legal, Regulatory and State Government Affairs, and technology teams to align system capabilities with business, policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate readiness, testing, implementation, and adoption for system releases and enhancements.
  • Produce reporting and analysis covering workload, contract complexity, compliance, financial performance, language trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and update administrative guidance, contracting procedures, exception routes, and approval frameworks.
  • Design, deliver, and assess virtual and classroom training while maintaining instructional materials and training records.
  • Advise field contracting teams and cross-functional partners as a subject matter expert.
  • Coach frontline employees, resolve complex issues, and provide occasional backup through phone and shared email channels.
  • Cultivate partnerships with Network Operations, Service Operations, Medical Management, Medical Economics, Legal, vendors, and regional contracting teams.
  • Contribute to Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth Health Services’ work to improve the health and vitality of clients, customers, and patients.

Cerințe

  • At least five years of experience in managed healthcare.
  • Two or more years of experience in contract negotiation.
  • Two or more years of experience in contract management.
  • Experience managing or supporting business systems, workflows, testing, releases, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to influence decisions, build support, and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication, presentation, training, relationship management, negotiation, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and solve problems in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF tools, and presentation software.
  • Willingness and ability to work across time zones occasionally.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
  • Knowledge of provider contracting, negotiation, provider services, project management, or system development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related discipline; an MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
