FEP Event Service Specialist - Hybrid Arizona

Support Federal Employee Program enrollment, retention, sponsorships, and events for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. This hybrid Arizona role manages member engagement, federal agency relationships, and field marketing activities.

Descriere

  • Coordinate corporate sponsorships, events, conferences, webinars, and meetings.
  • Advance FEP enrollment and retention objectives through targeted marketing strategies.
  • Plan field schedules and marketing initiatives for FEP Open Season.
  • Welcome members and explain plan benefits and features.
  • Maintain Saleshub CRM activity and achieve annual field activity targets.
  • Oversee promotional inventory, event supplies, giveaways, banners, and apparel.
  • Execute company sponsorships, meetings, conferences, webinars, and events.
  • Prepare talking points, conduct outbound calls, and follow up with leads and referrals.
  • Test and recommend initiatives that improve member and ABO satisfaction and return on investment.
  • Partner with Marketing and other divisions on event content and meeting design.
  • Reconcile events after completion and present project outcomes to leadership.
  • Administer event budgets while anticipating risks and opportunities.
  • Act as an FEP subject matter expert and resource for internal partners.
  • Create marketing and communications materials, including sales kits, brochures, one-sheets, letters, presentations, and giveaways.
  • Build and maintain Arizona federal agency relationships through customer service.
  • Track government regulations, FEP bulletins, and required reports.
  • Travel to federal agencies and participate in Open Season activities, conferences, conventions, and public relations events.
  • Maintain knowledge of FEHBP and FEDVIP benefits, eligibility, and enrollment matters.
  • Track competitor and marketplace activity and share findings with the FEP team.
  • At Level 2, analyze complex data, develop leadership insights, lead cross-functional projects, advise on event marketing content, identify business opportunities, and support annual enrollment objectives.
  • Work with a marketing lead or manager under general supervision and broad direction.
  • Handle other assigned responsibilities.

Cerințe

  • Three years of customer service experience at a health plan or in marketing or sales for Level 1.
  • Five years of customer service experience at a health plan or in marketing or sales for Level 2.
  • High school diploma or GED in a general field of study.
  • Current, active, unrestricted Arizona license to sell health insurance.
  • Valid Arizona driver license and acceptable driving record.
  • Knowledge of the policies, procedures, products, and guidelines needed for customer communication.
  • Intermediate proficiency with office equipment, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate PC proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in group and individual settings.
  • Ability to protect confidential and private information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to compose and dictate business correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret and explain policies, procedures, programs, and guidelines.
  • Investigative and analytical research capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate, collect, enter, and maintain records across multiple applications.
  • Ability to build and sustain collaborative working relationships.
  • Ability to identify customer and prospective customer needs.
  • Strong business ethics and high performance standards.
  • Preferred: three or five years of experience specifically with the Federal Employee Program.
  • Preferred: one year of account management experience.
  • Preferred: one year of sales experience.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Preferred: advanced PC proficiency.
  • Preferred: advanced knowledge of market dynamics and sales techniques.
  • Must live and work in Arizona and travel to federal agencies, including overnight trips and some weekends.
