AI Engineer – Generative AI and LLM (Remote, India)

Descriere

  • Create, develop, and deploy production-ready applications powered by Generative AI and LLMs
  • Build chatbots, copilots, intelligent automation tools, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Develop and improve RAG pipelines using embeddings, vector search, and structured and unstructured data
  • Connect applications with OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, and comparable LLM platforms
  • Create backend services and APIs with Python, FastAPI, Flask, or comparable frameworks
  • Develop prompts, system instructions, and strategies for managing context
  • Scale AI services from initial prototypes through production deployment
  • Assess LLM responses and improve quality, accuracy, speed, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Monitor, diagnose, and optimize AI systems running in production
  • Introduce evaluation, validation, guardrail, and error-management processes
  • Investigate and fix production defects and system regressions
  • Work with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to turn requirements into practical AI solutions
  • Support architecture decisions, technical reviews, and project documentation
  • Keep current with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and emerging AI tools
  • Assess and adopt new AI models, frameworks, and implementation techniques
  • Work alongside engineering leaders, product teams, software and backend engineers, global AI research and development teams, and business stakeholders

Cerințe

  • At least three years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or a related development field
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience creating applications with LLMs
  • Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases
  • Experience connecting applications to OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or comparable LLM APIs
  • Working knowledge of prompt engineering, model behavior, context management, and LLM evaluation
  • Experience building APIs or backend services with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including Git, REST APIs, testing, debugging, and system design
  • Familiarity with Docker and contemporary development practices
  • Ability to carry an AI use case from requirements through development, testing, and deployment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team
  • Experience delivering production AI copilots, chatbots, agents, or intelligent automation systems
  • Experience using LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or comparable AI orchestration frameworks
  • Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, FAISS, Chroma, or comparable vector databases
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows, tool or function calling, and multi-step AI systems
  • Experience with LLM fine-tuning, LoRA, or related methods
  • Experience deploying AI applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with model monitoring, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and responsible AI practices
  • Experience with SQL, CI/CD, Kubernetes, or model-serving infrastructure
  • Availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time, which corresponds to overnight hours in India
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends or adjust schedules when business requirements call for it
