Description
- Lead Forward-Deployed Engineers through complex customer deployments of the Securiti AI platform within Veeam
- Drive team growth and performance while overseeing enterprise delivery and customer experience from initial deployment through scaled adoption
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career progression
- Direct delivery planning, milestones, risks, timelines, and customer outcomes across enterprise accounts
- Allocate workloads and account responsibilities according to skills, capacity, customer requirements, and development opportunities
- Create operating rhythms for status reporting, delivery monitoring, risk management, and escalations
- Align expectations among executive and technical stakeholders
- Evaluate solution architecture, advise on technical decisions, and resolve escalated issues
- Support implementations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
- Define technical standards, reusable implementation patterns, and delivery playbooks
- Promote AI-enabled tools, automation, and modern workflows
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services
- Bring field insights to Product and Engineering to strengthen the platform and Forward-Deployed Engineering organization
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in technical, customer-facing delivery roles such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, or technical consulting
- Experience managing engineering or technical delivery teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development
- Proven program and delivery management ability across multiple customer accounts, timelines, risks, and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with executives, business leaders, engineers, and cross-functional internal teams
- Technical expertise in deployment and infrastructure, including Kubernetes, containers, Linux, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments
- Ability to assess technical architecture, understand systems and code, question assumptions, and support sound technical decisions
- Experience managing customer escalations
- Experience with AI-native tools, automation, and modern engineering practices
- Working knowledge of data security, privacy, governance, or regulatory considerations in enterprise environments
- Strong ownership and the ability to deliver outcomes across people, programs, and customers
- Bonus: Experience with DSPM, CSPM, DLP, data governance, privacy platforms, or related security areas
- Bonus: Experience leading forward-deployed, professional services, solutions delivery, or technical consulting teams at enterprise scale
- Bonus: Familiarity with GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001
