Senior U.S. Army Counter-UAS Business Development Manager

Grow Robin Radar Systems’ counter-UAS radar and software business with the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. Lead pipeline development, capture planning, negotiations, and contract awards in a hybrid U.S.-based role.

Description

  • Develop sales and pipeline opportunities for Robin Radar’s counter-UAS portfolio across the U.S. Army and Army National Guard
  • Manage the full sales cycle from requirement development through tendering, negotiation, and award
  • Broaden strategic account relationships and turn qualified opportunities into durable partnerships
  • Advance opportunities through FAR procurements, OTAs, CSOs, BAAs, and SBIR programs
  • Track Army C-UAS program roadmaps, competing sensor technologies, and changing customer requirements
  • Apply focused capture plans across priority accounts
  • Engage program offices, requirements owners, test organizations, and prime integrators
  • Represent Robin Radar at defense industry conferences and field demonstrations
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contract agreements
  • Structure deals to support corporate revenue, margin, and strategic priorities
  • Share field intelligence, spectrum limitations, and operational requirements with R&D and Product teams
  • Partner with Bid Operations, Systems Engineering, and Marketing
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. export controls, including EAR and ITAR
  • Oversee spectrum authorization requirements and Buy American Act considerations
  • Report to the General Manager of Robin Radar USA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent military experience
  • At least seven years of defense business development experience with demonstrated U.S. Army sales results
  • Demonstrated success capturing named U.S. Army programs, contract vehicles, OTAs, and BAAs
  • Strong understanding of counter-UAS systems, radar sensors, and air defense architectures
  • U.S. Person status under EAR and ITAR, with eligibility to obtain a security clearance
  • Previous U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery experience, such as a 14-series MOS or officer service, preferred
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities
  • Ability to operate independently in a global, high-technology matrix organization
  • Based in the United States, ideally near Huntsville, Alabama; Fort Sill, Oklahoma; or the National Capital Region
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for Army sites and industry events
  • Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and background screening required during the selection process
