Sales Development Representative (Canada, Remote) — Hiiya

Build Hiiya’s sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying prospects across Canada. Manage outbound outreach, account research, CRM updates, and lead handoffs to the Sales team.

Description

  • Expand market reach by qualifying prospects and generating pipeline.
  • Respond to web inquiries and assess leads before routing them to Sales.
  • Prospect across target accounts selected by management.
  • Support outreach tied to marketing events and other sales-development initiatives.
  • Own and maintain the lead-development pipeline.
  • Engage prospects through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly qualified-lead targets.
  • Assess opportunities against established qualification standards.
  • Research target accounts to uncover decision-makers and relevant business details.
  • Build productive, service-oriented relationships with prospects.
  • Submit weekly activity updates to management.
  • Develop knowledge of Hiiya’s products, competitors, and market landscape.
  • Record lead statuses and prospect interactions in the CRM each day.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or lead qualification, including outbound prospecting.
  • Background qualifying contacts at manager, director, VP, and executive levels.
  • Clear and effective communication with prospective customers.
  • Comfort working in a high-energy, fast-paced sales setting.
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity software.
  • Experience with HubSpot or Marketo, Salesforce, and other third-party integration tools.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate tradeoffs, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
