Payroll Coordinator (Remote, Moldova)

Coordinate end-to-end payroll and worker administration for Safeguard Global’s employment services. Support compliant processing, payments, invoicing, and employee lifecycle activities across Moldova, India, and the Philippines.

Description

  • Manage each worker’s employment lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Resolve daily questions and coordinate accurate, efficient, compliant payroll processing with internal and external providers.
  • Prepare sales invoices and ensure workers receive accurate payments on schedule.
  • Administer employment contract updates, including changes to salaries and benefits.
  • Maintain worker records in line with local compliance and retention requirements.
  • Serve as a contact for workers, internal support teams, ICP/ICE, and clients.
  • Complete compliant offboarding for indefinite and fixed-term contracts, including voluntary and involuntary terminations.
  • Track completion of required background checks.
  • Process payroll payments accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Stay current on payroll policies and applicable government regulations.
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies, correct reports, and resolve out-of-balance results.
  • Compare payroll reports with stored records and client-provided information before review and approval.
  • Maintain KPIs, internal reports, payroll calendars, and master payroll inputs.
  • Advise clients on country-specific requirements throughout the worker lifecycle.
  • Coordinate payroll funding and billing, complete charging sheets, and produce sales invoices.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated payroll experience, including knowledge of processing, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Understanding of payroll fundamentals and local legislation in supported countries is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and organize workload effectively.
  • Self-directed, proactive approach to work.
  • Highly organized with consistent attention to detail.
