Customer Advocate II – Sturgis, Michigan

Support packaging customers after purchase by resolving issues and coordinating orders. Partner with production and distribution teams at Graphic Packaging International.

Description

  • Deliver technical and non-technical support to customers after purchase
  • Assist customers by phone, online chat, and text
  • Investigate customer concerns and determine appropriate resolutions
  • Coordinate customer orders between customers, production, and distribution teams
  • Follow plant, hygiene, allergen, and Safe Quality Food procedures
  • Escalate potentially unsafe SQF conditions and customer complaints
  • Contribute to SQF root-cause investigations and corrective actions involving complaints, audits, validation, and verification
  • Gather and communicate information or data that requires explanation or interpretation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; no prior experience required
  • Understand the processes and procedures relevant to the position
  • Bring substantial knowledge developed through training or professional experience
  • Demonstrate established skills across routine daily responsibilities
  • Work consistently within standardized procedures and practices
  • Select suitable actions while operating within defined procedures
  • Follow plant rules and processes, including hygiene and allergen requirements for Safe Quality Foods
  • Recognize and report potentially unsafe conditions and customer complaints
  • Participate in SQF root-cause analysis and corrective-action activities
  • Perform the essential duties of the role satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation
