Claims Executive - United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Manage corporate insurance claims for Everywhen, The Ardonagh Group’s UK broking and advisory business. The role combines claims analysis, risk oversight, client reviews and technical support for broking teams.

Description

  • Manage corporate client claims across all segments within the assigned business area
  • Handle claims efficiently and effectively
  • Analyse claims data to support forecasting and risk-management oversight
  • Interpret claims trends, manage complex losses and enhance the client offering
  • Coordinate between clients, broking teams, third-party administrators and insurers
  • Maintain claims service standards under Group Claims Operational Procedures and the Acturis Best Practice Guide
  • Perform claims and incident analysis to support claims defensibility and risk management
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend preventative measures to clients
  • Organise and lead regular client claims-review meetings
  • Prepare for meetings and deliver accurate, current claims-management information
  • Support Account Executives and broking teams during renewals, new-business discussions and prospect meetings, in person or virtually as required
  • Provide technical claims guidance and referrals
  • Deliver claims information and reports for renewals and claims reviews within required deadlines
  • Work with broking and new-business teams to provide reliable claims data, support client retention and contribute to new-business success

Requirements

  • Broad technical knowledge across general insurance classes
  • Ability to read, understand and explain policy wordings and coverage to clients and colleagues
  • Confidence challenging insurers on policy interpretation and applying coverage to claims
  • Ability to present and lead in-person client review meetings
  • Ability to analyse claims data, identify trends and advise clients using claims-performance insights
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a large, multi-site Claims function
  • Ability to manage expectations professionally
  • Ability to work with internal and external legal counsel and explain relevant advice to clients
  • Sound understanding of business processes and performance drivers
  • Strong knowledge of internal and external Claims functions, company performance, market intelligence and business drivers
  • Skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation and communication
  • Successful candidates must complete relevant pre-employment checks before starting
